Two teens have been charged after allegedly stabbing a man with a screwdriver in a southern Gold Coast street overnight.

Police were called to Laguna Ave, Palm Beach about 8.40am on Monday after a 49-year-old man and two teens were spotted arguing.

The group was allegedly arguing about an unpaid fuel debt.

Police allege the debt was less than $100.

The man was left with a minor cut after he was allegedly stabbed with a screwdriver by the teens.

The injury were not life threatening.

A 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old woman have both been charged with unlawful wounding.

The woman is set to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on May 16.

The boy will appear in Southport Children’s Court at a later date.
