Lance Roudenko to captain Runaway Bay this season as Lydon Gibbons returns to Mudgeeraba
A FORMER Queensland Premier Cricket batsman will take over the Kookaburra Cup captaincy at Runaway Bay this season following Lydon Gibbons’ return to Mudgeeraba Nerang.

FORMER Queensland Premier Cricket batsman Lance Roudenko will take over the Kookaburra Cup captaincy at Runaway Bay this season following Lydon Gibbons’ return to Mudgeeraba Nerang.
Roudenko, who previously spent time as a player and coach at Brisbane grade clubs Souths and Wynnum Manly, has been brought to Runaway Bay following a 2018-19 season in which the Seagulls finished second-last.
The 34-year-old, who has brought former Souths first grade captain and close friend Michael Narracott with him to Sam Loxton Oval, will also serve assistant coach with the club.

After 14 seasons at Mudgeeraba, Gibbons spent just one at Runaway Bay and has returned to a Bushmen playing group already boosted by the arrival of Gold Coast Dolphins quartet Kevin Chapman, Howard Biddle, Josh Nelson and Mitch Daly.
Former Queensland second XI and Dolphins batsman Oscar Richardson, as well as brother Tim, has also joined the club.
