Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury is willing to go down the Big Freeze slide as part of his pre-game preparation before Monday’s Queen’s Birthday clash.
The Pies superstar has a close affinity to Neale Daniher’s MND fight because he lost his grandfather, Noel, to the horrible disease in 2016.
“People often ask me, ‘Would you go down the slide when you retire?’” Pendlebury said on the Jock and Journo podcast.

“You could make me go down 20 minutes before (the first bounce). If Neale Daniher said ‘Can you go down the slide?' Absolutely. No qualms.
“If that got more people there, raising more money for the fight (against MND), I'd love to.”

Pendlebury revealed he was shocked by how quickly MND took away his grandfather.
“My grandpa went from fully healthy to nine months later passing away," he said. "I would go back to Sale to see him and he was a shell of himself.
“He was 30 kgs lighter and he couldn't get off the couch without the help of my brothers and I.”
This year's line-up of sliders includes Pendlebury’s premiership teammate Dane Swan, Brendan Fevola, Jimmy Bartel, Chris Judd, Jobe Watson, Liam Picken and Bob Murphy.
SEN SHINES IN THE MORNING
Was that champagne corks we heard popping down at SEN’s Southbank studio?
Ratings day has been met with great trepidation by the sports network in recent times. But survey three has brought some much-needed joy.
An across-the-board rise was a big tick, but it was a significant milestone for one of Craig Hutchison’s biggest assets that will have the radio boss breathing a sigh of relief.
The Breakfast Show with Garry Lyon and Tim Watson came in at 4.0, up from 3.4 — the first time in three years it has made the four-point mark.
Previously, you had to go back to the days of David Schwarz and Francis Leach to see four-point ratings in the crucial breakfast slot.
Morning host Gerard Whateley also registered a tidy rise, from 3.0 to 3.5.
At Macquarie Sports Radio, Schwarz and co-host Mark Allen rose slightly to 1.2 — streeting anything else on the station.
In footy ratings, the honours were shared between Triple M and 3AW.
A big win on Friday nights was the story for 3AW, which also led the Saturday night slot.
Triple M won Saturday afternoons and Sundays.
