Truck and car collide at Mountain Tamborine, two people hospitalised

A women has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a truck and car crash west of the Gold Coast. Find out the latest.

A women has been seriously injured and a driver hospitalised following a collision between a truck and car west of the Gold Coast.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Curtis and Long Roads at Tamborine Mountain, just before 10am on Thursday.

Firefighters had to cut one of the occupants free from the car. The female patient suffered serious injuries to her shoulder and arm and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition

A second patient was also hospitalised for minor injuries.

Paramedics assessed a third person who was a passenger in the car but they did not require further treatment.
