Car and two trucks crash near Oxenford with kilometres of delays back to Coomera

A crash involving a car and two trucks has closed lanes on the M1 and caused headaches for Gold Coast motorists. Find out what happened.

A nasty crash involving a car and two trucks has blocked lanes on the M1 and brought traffic to a crawl near Oxenford.

Emergency services were called to the incident at the Helensvale north off-ramp at 10.35am on Tuesday where traffic had already banked 6km back past Dreamworld.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said the vehicle had reportedly been hit by the two seperate trucks while travelling southbound on the motorway.

Paramedics assessed two patients at the scene, the spokesman said.

They were reported to be in stable conditions.

All vehicle had been cleared from the motorway by 11.30 with delays continuing to ease from Coomera.
