Seven hospitalised after Broadbeach crash

Seven people, including an infant, have been hospitalised after a crash in Broadbeach this morning.

SEVEN people, including an infant have been hospitalised following a crash in Broadbeach this morning.

The two vehicle crash occurred on the Gold Coast Highway around 11.07am.

Three ambulance crews assessed three adults, a child, two toddlers and an infant who have now been taken to Gold Coast University Hospital for observation.

Some of the adults in the group are also reportedly suffering from neck pain.

Traffic was brought to a standstill along the Broadbeach stretch of Gold Coast Highway, as well as extending onto Hooker Boulevard.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services have reported there were no people trapped inside the car, and both vehicles have now been removed from the scene.

The area is reportedly now cleared.
