A section of the Ring Road in Shaw has been closed as emergency services respond to a serious motorcycle crash on the Shaw Rd on-ramp.
The Queensland Fire Department said a motorcyclist has crashed on the ‘ramp’ that funnels Ring Road traffic onto Shaw Rd.
“The on-ramp has been closed to southbound traffic,” a spokesman said.
The Queensland Ambulance Service said paramedics were on scene and treating a man for “significant leg injuries”.
Police said multiple lanes were blocked to traffic around the motorcycle crash.
The incident occurred around 12.45, midday Thursday.
