More than 50 Gold Coast restaurants have now confirmed they will open up their dining rooms as restrictions are eased this weekend. SEE THE FULL LIST OF RESTAURANTS

GOLD Coast cafes and restaurants are eager to return to “normality” and open up their dining rooms this weekend, with restrictions allowing venues to serve 10 people.

While some say the cap on diners makes it not worth reopening, others are desperate to welcome guests once again.

Bar and restaurant’s reopening competition goes viral

Since March 23, pubs and bars across the country have been forced to close, while restaurants and cafes have been restricted to takeaway and home-delivery only.

But those missing their favourite foods can rejoice as dining rooms begin to open again albeit with a limit of 10 patrons at a time from Saturday week.
