A woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in the neck in an alleged violent assault in Adelaide’s northeastern suburbs on Thursday.

A woman will face court charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in the neck in an alleged violent assault.
Emergency services were called to Scott Rd, Newton around 12.15pm on Thursday, after reports a 59-year-old man had been stabbed.
Police arrived at the property and found he had stab wounds to his neck and he was rushed to hospital for treatment.
A 60-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and police said the victim and suspect were known to each other.
The woman was charged with attempted murder and refused police bail to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday.
