One of Hindley St’s most famous clubbing spots has been transformed into a sharp new venue aiming to give punters the chance to blow off some night time steam and is set to open next month.

Level Up, the brainchild of Wolf Nightlife Group owner Antony Tropeano who has been pondering a reincarnation of his former Red Square space, will open its doors on Friday November 1.

The new business is all about attracting “those who crave fun, games and great company” and offers axe throwing, pool tables, shuffleboard, air hockey and darts for anyone wanting to “level up their night out”.

Mr Tropeano said there was a rooftop menu with pizzas from Leo’s along with a caravan bar, adding that in the current night venue market people are looking for a “more engaging and diverse experience than traditional nightclubs”.

Its opening comes after Red Square nightclub closed in March this year with a 24hr party to mark its 22 years in business, one of five night-time venues to close in Hindley St over six months, including Enigma Bar and Precinct nightclub.

The new venue was designed to take the street in a new direction, according to Mr Tropeano who also owns Cherry Nightclub, Hidden Pour bar and The Palace strip club.

“Many people are seeking more than just music and dancing – they are craving interactive, social activities like axe throwing, shuffleboard and pool,” he said.

“These elements provide a fun, memorable night out, encouraging group participation and attracting a wider demographic.

“As people increasingly prioritise unique experiences, venues that combine entertainment with socialising are better positioned to succeed, offering something for everyone, whether they’re playing games or enjoying drinks in a vibrant setting.”
