“Sometimes I win $7... and sometimes I win $1.3m,” a jubilant man has joked after becoming the North Coast’s second Lotto millionaire in as many weeks. Here’s what he plans to do with the money.

Another man has become a millionaire in the state’s north after pocketing $1.3m in last weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.

His windfall follows a Casino dad receiving the “best Christmas present ever” in the form of a $1m win the previous week.

The latest jubilant winner confessed he “broke out into a little jig” after discovering he had scored a seven-figure sum.

The Northern Rivers resident held one of the four national division one winning entries, with each winner receiving $1,352,707.86.

“I’m happy, jumping and dancing,” the man said when speaking to an official from The Lott.

Lotto officials have had great news for two North Coast men in the space of as many weeks.

The weekly player said his ritual was to buy a ticket each week and check it the following Monday.

“Sometimes I win $7... and sometimes I win $1.3m,” he said.

“You have those idle dreams about winning big, but you don’t think it will ever happen to you.,” he said.

Overwhelmed, the man said he just wanted to dance and “shout it out”.

“Anytime is a good time to win, but at this time of year it’s especially good.

He plans to pay off his mortgage and have an early retirement.

“I can’t believe it. I might just wander around in a daze for the next day or so,” he said.

Lotto officials had to wait for the man, who purchased his winning ticket from Lismore Centro Newspro on Carrington St, to ring them after he had checked the results.

Nicole Renshaw, a representative of the Newspro store, said she was celebrating another big win landing at her outlet.

“Our last big division one winning ticket was in February 2023, so it’s great to have another one,” Ms Renshaw said.

“It’s always exciting to sell a big winning ticket. We are telling everyone about our lucky win.

“We wish our winner all the very best with their prize.”

Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4533, with two in NSW and one each in Victoria and South Australia.
