NT traffic: Emergency services on scene of Humpty Doo crash

A motorcyclist is injured following a serious crash in the rural area that closed one lane of traffic on the Stuart Highway.

A motorcyclist is injured following a serious crash in the rural area that closed one lane of traffic on the Stuart Highway.

Just after 10am, NT Police received reports of a collision that occurred at the Humpty Doo traffic lights at the corner of Stuart Highway and the Arnhem Highway.

Police said the crash was not a fatal though the motorcycle rider was injured following the incident.

Police in a statement said one inbound lane was closed – while one lane remains open for traffic to flow through.

“Police advise motorists to drive with caution through the area,” NT Police said.
