A reality TV show makeup artist at the centre of a Covid-19 lockdown in Northern NSW is expected to enter pleas to her charges on her next court appearance.

Kelly Anne Bowman, 32, faces five counts of failing to comply with electronic registration directive and one count of not complying with permit conditions.

The Rushcutters Bay woman was granted a Covid-19 exemption to travel to Northern NSW to work on reality TV show I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in September.

Police allege Bowman went to several businesses and venues in Byron Bay and Kingscliff over the weekend of September 18, 19, which breached the conditions of her exemption.

Further it is alleged she did not check-in at Combi Byron Bay, Salt & Pepper Wanderlust Byron Bay, Assembly Label Byron Bay, Rowie Byron Bay and Salt Cellars Kingscliff.

At the time of the alleged offences Ms Bowman was positive with Covid-19 which resulted in the North Coast going into a lockdown.

Bowman was not required to appear when her matter was mentioned in Tweed Heads Local Court on Monday.

Her lawyer told the court there were ongoing negotiations regarding the charges and the agreed facts.

He indicated Bowman was expected to enter pleas on the next mention.

The matter was adjourned to December 20.
