A woman who was found submerged in a Gold Coast swimming pool at the weekend is on life support - not dead, police have confirmed.
Emergency services were called to an apartment building on Marine Pde at Labrador after reports a woman, believed to be in her 30s, was “submerged” in water about 6pm Saturday.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the woman was rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
Police on Monday believed the woman had since passed away - but that has subsequently been revealed as incorrect. Police say she is on life support in hospital.
