The team that opened IceBar Surfers Paradise a month ago have doubled the fun with a new attraction upstairs.

Billed as the world’s first mirror bar, a venue made entirely of mirrors was unveiled on March 8.

Mirror Bar and IceBar Surfers and Melbourne general manager Charlotte Stephens said the concept was fitting for an influencer’s paradise.

“The Gold Coast is full of gorgeous people,” she said.

“The whole floor is made of mirrors, all the walls, the ceiling, chairs, tables, the features, the bar itself.

“We’ve got a lot of confidence in our knowledge we’ve gotten from IceBar with the tourism industry and what people are looking for.”

The bar has a range of quirky features, including a separate room called The Kaleidoscope with a built-in still camera to capture the madness from above.

“It’s made of mirrors — all at different angles — so your reflection is bouncing around like crazy. It’s a definite Insta spot,” Mrs Stephens said.

She said Tokyo’s famous digital art museum teamLab was “a bit of inspiration” behind the design.

“They do a big mirrored attraction, but it’s not a bar – we like a drink so we can turn anything into a bar apparently,” she said.

Visits to the Mirror Bar follow the same formula as the IceBar.

Each session runs for 45 minutes and customers are provided with non-slip socks, bike shorts for anyone in a skirt, dress or kilt, and a cocktail.

Prices start from $22 for kids and $45 for adults.
