Surfers Pavilion is barking up the right tree as the venue’s popular waterfront deck becomes dog-friendly from this Saturday with a seven-day breakfast menu for you - and your pooch.

Dog owners can buckle up with their fur babies and jump on their jetskis, boats or kayaks and dock downstairs for direct access from the Nerang River.

To celebrate the paw-some new direction the restaurant and bar will offer the first 100 Surfers Pavilion visitors – and their four-legged friends – a free puppa-ccino on Saturday morning.

The move comes as the hotspot announces extended trading hours, now opening daily for breakfast from 7am with a menu that caters for both dogs and humans.

Artesian Hospitality managing partner Matt Keegan said they wanted to create an offering that was inclusive of the whole family.

“It’s a dual win – dog parents don’t have to leave their furry family members behind and dogs get to enjoy a waterfront breakfast fit for their human owners,” he said.

“We’re looking forward to seeing the joy this brings to both dogs and their owners.”

Mr Keegan said their goal was to create a menu that reflected the same food two-legged customers ate but also for beloved furry friends to “share the experience” together.

The canine-specific menu includes dog biscuits, lactose free ice cream, sausage and eggs, acai bowls, rump steak, salmon poke bowls and a raw diet menu for dogs on the shred.
