Last light Mr and Mrs Frizelle charged 40 of their friends $250 a ticket to have dinner with them to raise money for their teams “The Mole Patrol” and the “Superheroes”.
“This year we will have 12 to 15 teams racing. They don’t actually race (the cars), but the race is about the funds raised,” Mrs Frizelle said.
“You get to pick your choice of car if you’re the biggest fundraiser.
“We ran it for three years and have raised over $800,000. This year we are on track to get more than a $1 million.”

The teams, made up of local business owners and entrepreneurs, get to drive sports cars for three days to an “unknown destination”, and on the way to take part in doing challenges to raise more money.
“I just think we are all so lucky. We are very fortunate and you don’t have to look far to see people struggling,” Mrs Frizelle said.
“So we need to do our bit to contribute and that’s why we come together to do it.”
