A DEVELOPER wants to build a 21-storey tower just a short walk from one of the Gold Coast’s most popular beaches.
The skyhome tower will have just 28 units, each with three bedrooms in the heart of Main Beach, with most floors containing two apartments, as well as multiple penthouse levels.

The Pacific Street project, put forward by developer Mangomero, will have 84 bedrooms spread across its floors which have been designed with a coastal theme.
“The design will deliver a vibrant and lush (tower) and the architecture of the podium proposed is unique and not traditional in the sense there are no solid walls,” A report on the proposed tower says.

It would replace an ageing two-storey apartment block which would be demolished to make way for the tower.
