A LARGE houseboat has sunk in the Broadwater outside of Sea World.
The front half of the boat is submerged in the water after it sank in the early hours of this morning.
The boat is adjacent to bush land outside the Sea World car park.
Broadwater MP David Crisafulli said it was the third houseboat that has been damaged in the Broadwater in just three weeks.

“We’ve had two sink and one ignited,” he said.
“Someone needs to be responsible and own it. The Waterways Authorities need to be properly resourced.
“It is a danger to the environment. That boat is half in the water and there is a dolphin only a couple of metres away from the boat.”

Last month a houseboat left a trail of debris after being destroyed at Biggera Waters, while smoke billowed across the suburb of Labrador when a houseboat moored near the Grand Hotel on Marine Parade went up in flames.
