A former Hells Angel bikie has faced a Logan court for alleged possession of drugs and refusing to hand over his phone to police, but he plans to contest some of the charges.
Forestdale man Samuel King admitted to police in 2016 he was a patched member of the Hells Angel bikie organisation.
It is understood he is no longer an active member of the group.
The 48-year-old faced Beenleigh Magistrates Court again on March 15, charged with two counts of possession of a dangerous drug and one count of contravening an order about information stored electronically.
Police will allege he possessed the drugs on December 15, 2023 in Forestdale, Logan.
They will also allege he refused to show his mobile phone to authorities on the same date in Southport.
Mr King entered a plea of guilty to the drug charges but pleaded not guilty to the contravening an order charge.
Magistrate Tracy Mossop adjourned his matters to Beenleigh Magistrates Court on April 9 for case conferencing.
Mr King’s bail was enlarged.
