FIVE years after the disappearance of Jesse Kearney in Tamborine Mountain, his family is one step closer to getting answers.
The first stages of a coronial inquiry began yesterday with a pre-inquest conference held in the Southport Coroner’s Court.
Mr Kearney went missing in February 2015 and was last seen near the Golf Course Estate, Tamborine Mountain.
The court has been tasked to “establish whether Jesse Kearney is in fact deceased” and “when, where and how he died” and cause of death
The coroner’s court was told yesterday about 16 witnesses would be called.
Witnesses allegedly said Mr Kearney, 28, of Nerang, was running around without clothes on in the lead-up to his disappearance.
