Forget flash cars or properties, a Gold Coast mum has a much more down-to-earth priority for her new-found wealth after a $2 million lotto win.

A GOLD Coast mum has revealed an unusual plan for how to spend her two million dollar lottery windfall.

The Surfers Paradise woman, who chose not to be named, revealed the first thing she would do with her winnings was go to the dentist.

The mum was one of two division one winners, both from Queensland, in Saturday’s Gold Lotto draw 3975, taking home an astounding $1,971,752.32.

A Golden Casket official broke the life-changing news to the woman this morning, who had no idea she’d started the week a millionaire.

“Oh my god,” she cried with happiness.

“Jesus. That’s pretty flippin’ good!

The Gold Coast woman won nearly $2m in Saturday’s draw.

“This is truly life changing. I can’t believe it!

“My husband is going to be blown away.”

The couple planned to pay off their mortgage and the woman said her husband may retire on the winnings.

“I think that will definitely happen,” she said.

“He’s always dreamt of riding a bicycle around Europe and I’d love to take the whole family on a cruise.”

GROUP OF FRIENDS SCOOPS NEARLY $1m IN LOTTO

The winning entry was bought from newsXpress Surfers Paradise in the Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre.

Owners Graeme and Averill Hunt said they couldn’t be happier for their winner.

“This is the second division one winning entry we’ve sold in the outlet in the past two years and we hope we sell a third very soon!” they said.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3975 on Saturday 24 August 2019 were 33, 9, 10, 4, 32 and 11, while the supplementary numbers were 29 and 23.
