Gold Coast Big Brother star Daniel Gorringe confirmed in relationship although entering the show single

This Big Brother contestant may have entered the house “single” but he’s now confirmed to be in a relationship.

SHUT down the rumours, it’s been confirmed.

Romance is in the air for Big Brother star and former AFL player Daniel Gorringe, who entered the reality TV show as “single”.

Gorringe, 27, made his reality TV debut on Big Brother on Monday night.

Before entering the Big Brother House, Gorringe was asked by host Sonia Kruger if he was single and he replied: “I am single but I have someone waiting.”

During the episode, there appeared to be some flirting between fellow contestant Talia Rycroft, 22, and Gorringe.

Rycroft told Big Brother she would “like to get to know him more” and later confronted Gorringe to say: “You make me feel confused. I’m like does this guy like me?”.

Gorringe: “No, I like you. I like you more than most in here already.”

But it was confirmed before the episode aired that he is in a relationship with 22-year-old Ana Cannon.

ATG understands the couple have been dating since 2018 but split when Gorrigne entered the show.

“We didn’t go into this experience as a couple but we came out stronger than ever,” Cannon posted on social media alongside a picture of the pair kissing.

“Nothing like some enforced radio silence and a bit of help from love doctor @bigbrotherau to sort out the relationship demons.

“I couldn’t be more proud of you (Daniel) and I’m so excited for you to share your amazing (and often idiotic) soul with Australia. Tune in for lots of lols and also a few tears - go Dogo go!”

All episodes except the finale have been prerecorded. ATG will have to stay tuned to see what finally happens inside the Big Brother house.
