The perfect dry shampoo for busy mums

As part of their latest product drop for summer, MCoBeauty has released their Magic Hair Dry Shampoo.

This product is a lightweight, aerosol-free dry shampoo that aims to refresh your hair and scalp with just a few sprays.

When I saw this product initially, I was immediately intrigued by the packaging, as rather than coming in an aerosol can, it instead comes in a pump bottle with visible powder inside.

How it works is that you hold the bottle 10cm away from your hair, and spray onto the roots. Leave it for 15 seconds, then massage into the scalp and brush through.

It also has some amazing ingredients like Allantoin, Ginseng Root Extract, and Vitamin E.

After trying it out, the product has become a new go-to of mine, and will be perfect for busy mums. 

It takes less product to add freshness and volume to your hair, and doesn’t create the same, messy white effect that can take forever to massage out.

Given it’s not in an aerosol can, it’s also easier to store and can be taken with you to use on the go.

Let’s talk price…

At $28, this product is most certainly on the pricier side when it comes to the dry shampoos you can buy at your local shops. 

However, it’s much cheaper than other powder dry shampoos on the market, so it’s worth giving it a try.

MCoBeauty is also constantly having sales, so keep an eye out for when you might be able to snag a bargain!

This one's not a dupe, but...

MCoBeauty has been in hot water recently due to their tendency to create dupes of high-end products.

The brand first went viral last year, with the release of their Flawless Glow Luminous Skin Filter.

Though the release was met with enthusiasm from some, the product philosophy and design left others scratching their heads, due to the stark similarities it bore to Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter.

Charlotte Tilbury has since hit back with their new advertising campaign, shining a spotlight on duplicate products of their iconic Hollywood Flawless Filter.

The video shows the product in a photocopier, with papers coming out with phrases like ‘ERROR! COPY IMPOSSIBLE’, and ‘DUPE DENIED’.

Whilst the video doesn’t mention any brand specifically, with brands like e.l.f. also coming out with their version of the product, Aussies went in to bat for the beloved MCoBeauty product.

However, their new Magic Hair Dry Shampoo is no dupe, and may even be better than its high-end alternatives.
