CROWDS have been left devastated as the Coast’s favourite showbag sold out within hours on the second day of the Gold Coast Show.

The beloved Bertie Beetle showbag was frantically snapped up by showgoers throughout the day, with organisers confirming they are now completely sold out this year.

But there was plenty more to keep the crowds entertained throughout the day.

Expect to do a lot of walking while exploring all that is on offer at the Gold Coast Show with the exhibits and entertainment spread across the vast Broadwater Parklands in Southport.

Showgoers today found themselves among regular walkers who populate the parklands for the second day of the Gold Coast Show, which coincided with the Gypsy Spirit Psychic Expo.

Psychics Jodie Maio and Debbie Tawhai shared some of their insight about the Gold Coast - including guaranteeing Queensland would secure the 2032 Olympics.

When asked whether they thought the state would host the 2032 games, they said yes without hesitation.

10,000 SHOWBAGS SOLD ON FIRST DAY

The dog show drew a crowd as hundreds of dogs showed off their shiny coats and impressive obedience skills.

Show organiser PJ Habner said the overall crowd numbers have beat last year’s show.

She attributed this to the free entry and entertainment.
