The wait is over and all prayers have been answered.

McDonald’s Australia has confirmed it will be releasing a Caramilk McFlurry following rumours last month.

The epic combination will be available in all Macca’s restaurants and via McDelivery from Wednesday, 13 October.

But as always, you better get in fast as it’s only available for a limited time.

The fast-food chain’s senior brand manager in Australia said they’re “so excited” to be introducing the Cadbury Caramilk McFlurry and give Aussie Macca’s fans the dessert they have been dreaming about.

“It’s here, it’s Cadbury Caramilk and it’s only available while stocks last,” Liz Whitbread, said.

“Cadbury Caramilk is a phenomenon adored by chocolate fans across the country. Its unique, delicious caramelised white chocolate is truly in a league of its own.”

The announcement of the new McFlurry comes after an Aussie chef caused quite the stir online when he posted with a snap of the treat.

“Oh my sweet sweet God we are getting Caramilk McFlurry,” Nick Vavitis, a 27-year-old chef from Brisbane, said in an Instagram post in September.

It didn’t take long for fans of the chockie block and the fast-food chain to share the chef’s post praying for the rumours to be true.

“If this is bulls**t, imma gunna get real cranky!!” one person wrote on Facebook.

“We truly live in a remarkable moment in time, ” another joked, while others begged for it to be true.

“This needs to be true!!!!” one person said.

Luckily, Macca’s delivered.

Over the past few years, the “golden” treat has become a massive hit with Cadbury combining it with many of its other popular chocolates including Marble and Hokey Pokey.

More recently it joined forces with Krispy Kreme to deliver not one, but two Caramilk-flavoured doughnuts — The Caramilk Shell and The Caramilk Ring.
