An Aussie chef caused mayhem online when he claimed the fast-food giant would be releasing a Caramilk McFlurry.

Macca’s is yet to confirm or deny the rumour but it didn’t take long for fans of the chockie block and the fast-food chain to share the chef’s post which is now popping up all over Instagram and in a dedicated Facebook page for ‘Caramilk addicts’.

“If this is bulls**t, imma gunna get real cranky!!” one person wrote.

“We truly live in a remarkable moment in time, ” another joked, while others begged for it to be true.

“This needs to be true!!!!” one person said.

“I hope this is true but I also don’t want to spend all my time in Macca’s,” a second person added.

Others said they didn’t want to get too excited just in case it was fake.

“I don’t know whether to get my hopes up or not, like with the Biscoff McFlurry that never happened,” one person said.

But according to Nick, it’s happening.

“I can confirm it is 1000000 per cent true. They are throwing a private launch event for it,” he said in a follow-up post.

He claims the new McFlurry will be available on Wednesday, October 13.

So, until then, we all just have to hope and pray Macca’s will deliver the goods.
