The good, bad and the ugly: All the goss from the Logies after parties

NEVER before have we been in a better position to see what the stars really get up to in those Logies after parties — the good, the bad and the ugly.

Logies 2018: what did you miss?

NINETEEN at The Star became Nine at The Star for the night on Sunday as Channel 9’s favourite faces let their hair down after the Logies.

“Everyone you can think of was there — it was massive,” one guest said.

Except maybe Bert and Patti Newton, whowent home to bed instead.

Today show co-host Karl Stefanovic was there with his ‘work wife’ Georgie Gardner and soon to be second wife Yasmin Yarbrough, his brother Peter Stefanovic, sister-in-law/colleague Sylvia Jeffreys and Today Show family favourite Deborah Knight.

PLANS TO LEVERAGE LOGIES TO BOOST FILM, TV AND FOOTY ON COAST

Gold Logie contendor Tracy Grimshaw didn’t let Grant Denyer’s win dampen her party vibe, kicking on alongside the network’s winners — 60 Minutes Hall of Fame inductees George Negus, Ray Martin and Tara Brown and Block team members Shelley Craft and Scott Cam — also kicked on.

Collingwood AFL boss Eddie Mcguire and Gold Coast Suns boss Tony Cochrane were both there — before Cochrane made his way downstairs to the Channel 10 party later in the night.

Kerri-Anne Kennerley was also spotted at both Nine and 10’s after parties too.

EVERYONE WAS ON THE GOLD COAST FOR THE LOGIES

Nine stars weren’t the only VIPs in the room — Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and Tourism Minister Kate Jones were there, along with Mayor Tom Tate, his wife Ruth and Star boss Matt Bekier.

Actors Lachy Hulme, Rodger Corser, Vince Colossimo and Miranda Tapsell put in solid innings and while there were no reported sightings of Kelly Rowland at the Nine at The Star knees-up, Jess Glynne and rumoured beau, British singer/songwriter Dan Caplen, and Conrad Sewell made it along.

Richard Wilkins and his ‘fiance’ were there. Ditto Julia Morris, Sonia Kruger and Andy Lee and girlfriend Rebecca Harding.

THE REAL REASON QUEENSLAND FOUGHT SO HARD FOR THE LOGIES

Of course, it wouldn’t be a party without the cast of Married at First Sight in the house, although we hear they were somewhat subdued after a big pre-Logies night out on the town in Broadbeach on Saturday.

Local Channel Nine news presenters Wendy Kingston and Jade Cotic joined their interstate mates, with Cotic out until 4am.

Logies laster Leila McKinnon was in party mode but word is she might have to hand over her “last to leave the Logies after party” crown — to none other than Hamish Blake.

The smell of victory was in the air downstairs as Channel 10 celebrated a stellar year at the awards with a pumping party in Cucina Vivo.

Model and TV personality Erin Holland hovered at the entry waiting for a higher power to get her in past the strict guest list.

MARGOT ROBBIE CO-PRODUCING TV SERIES TO SCREEN ON ABC

It didn’t take long for joker Rob Shehadie from Channel Nine’s Here Come the Habibs to crash 10’s party. Vikings superstar Travis Fimmel turned up to join the celebrations too.

Golden girl Margot Robbie couldn’t attend due to Hollywood commitments but little brother Cameron made up for her absence — and then some. He was overheard ordering three Jagerbombs – or as they were named on the night “Matty J-agerbombs”.

The drinks menu at the party included the I’m a Cocktail, Get Me In Ya! (passionfruit mojito), Keller Me Softly (vodka, soda, lime) and Hughesy, We Have A Prosecco, (Aperol spritz).

Not being able to drink didn’t stop a pregnant Carrie Bickmore from partying the night away, partaking in a late night boogie to some pop classics with Sarah Harris.

FOXTEL DRAMA WENTWORTH WINS BIG AT LOGIES

Confirmed single international star Wilder Valderrama of That 70s Show and NCIS fame was rarely seen without at least one lady in tow. His presence was certainly a hit.

George Negus, spotted at Nine’s party earlier in the night, was reportedly the last to leave the dancefloor at 10’s shindig well after 4am.

Ten’s up latest (or earliest) award went to former Bachelor Matty J and his sweetheart Laura Byrne, who left The Star to head to their room at the Sofitel around 6am.

It’s hard to imagine anyone had a better night out in Logies town that the 2018 Bachelor Nick “Honey-Badger” Cummins, spotted at 10’s party with his sisters.

Casey Donovan, Lisa Wilkinson, Amanda Keller, Julia Morris, Tom Gleisner (still clutching his Logie), Grant and Chezzi Denyer, MasterChef’s Gary and George and Tom Gleeson were also there.

Former Neighbours actress Olympia Valance was spotted getting cosy with visiting American Chris Ball, who was in town as a guest of Valderrama.

Many of the female guests took off their heels, with 10 offering special slippers to anyone with tired feet.

The Wolf Creek cast, from Nine’s streaming service Stan, and Channel Seven Sunrise weather presenter Sam Mac also snuck in to 10’s celebrations.

Seven, which sent a small contingent to this year’s Logies, did not throw an official after party for their network representatives, hosting post Logies drinks for them at the Sheraton Mirage instead.
