Gold Coast men have been given the chance to compete for the heart of a mystery woman for the next season of The Bachelorette.
Producers from the show are heading to the Gold Coast in season for contestants for the fifth season.

The casting company has put out the call that they are seeking “lots of men” to compete against 24 others to win the heart of a mystery woman.
To apply you must be between 23 and 38-years-old, looking for love – but most importantly single.
Potential contestants need to fill out an online application, upload a body shot and headshot, and a two minute video.

Filming kicks off in June this year and selected applicants need to be available to film for up to 12 weeks.
If chosen, the potential contestants will be invited to audition on the Gold Coast and meet the casting crew in almost a month’s time, on May 2nd and 3rd.
Previously casting has only been in Brisbane, meaning Gold Coasters no longer need to make the drive to the City.

The identify of the Bacherlotte is yet to be revealed, but the Bulletin has been told she will be named in coming weeks.
Since the show made its debut in 2013, dozens of Gold Coasters have found fame from Apollo Jackson (2018), Tara Pavlovic (2017), and Sam Cochrane (2018).
Georgia Love and Lee Elliot met during the 2016 series and have been happily in love since.
