The brother of slain terrorist Khaled Sharrouf has been hit with dozens of domestic violence charges for alleged vicious abuse of a partner stretching over an 18-month period.

The brother of one of Australia’s most notorious terrorists, Khaled Sharrouf, has been hit with dozens of domestic violence charges for allegedly savagely bashing his partner nine years ago.
Islamic State supporter Arken Sharrouf was arrested at Silverwater jail on Friday for alleged ongoing abuse against the 31-year-old between May 2007 and October 2008.
The 33-year-old, who is bail refused for other unrelated charges alleged crimes, did not appear when his matter was heard at Bankstown Local Court on Friday.
Counter Terrorism police began investigating Sharrouf, whose terrorist brother died fighting for IS in Syria, in January last year over allegations he viciously beat his partner at Punchbowl, Wiley Park and Chullora in Sydney’s west.

Sharrouf is charged with 73 charges including reckless wounding, 22 counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and 28 counts of common assault.
He’s due to appear in the same court via video link on Monday.
His brother Khaled travelled to Syria in 2013 and gained global notoriety for posting photos of the severed head of a Syrian official.
The schizophrenia sufferer had been collecting thousands of dollars from his Disability Support Pension while committing heinous war crimes in the self-proclaimed caliphate, and was in a US air strike in August 2017.
