Two men arrested after NSW Police raid clandestine drug lab in Kurnell
Two men have been arrested after police dismantled a large clandestine laboratory, seizing six kilograms of MDMA and 100 kilograms of precursor chemicals, in Sydney’s south.

Police have seized $200,000 cash, six kilograms of MDMA and more than 100kg of unrefined drug and precursor chemicals after raiding a clandestine drug laboratory in Sydney’s south.
Two men - aged 56 and 29 - were arrested at a Kurnell property on May 4 and charged.
Strike Force McGeoch officers, the Public Order Riot Squad and Dog Unit raided the Horning Street property last week and allegedly uncovered the clandestine laboratory in a shed at the rear of the property.
Specialist officers from the Drug and Firearms Squad’s Chemical Operations Unit and Fire and Rescue NSW HAZMAT teams were called in to help dismantle the lab, which took place over five days.
The older man was charged with manufacturing a prohibited drug - large commercial quantity; and the younger man was charged with taking part in manufacturing a prohibited drug - large commercial quantity.
There appeared in court on May 5 and were refused bail. They will appear before Downing Centre Local Court on July 7.
Investigations under Strike Force McGeoch, which was established in December to investigate the manufacture of prohibited drugs in Kurnell, are ongoing.
