Richmond Road closed at Berkshire Park after truck crash
Motorists have been warned to expect heavy delays after tonnes of pumpkins spilled on to a major road following a crash in which two truck drivers were trapped in their rigs.

Police allege a truck that collided with another truck on a major Sydney road, sparking traffic chaos, was stolen.
The two drivers were trapped in their vehicles for an hour before they were freed by emergency services.
Richmond Road is closed in both directions at Berkshire Park after the crash early Tuesday morning.
A helicopter landed at the crash scene during the rescue operation.
Fire and Rescue NSW and SES NSW freed both drivers before they were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics.
The driver of the larger truck was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
The driver of the smaller truck was airlifted to the same hospital in a critical condition.
The cargo of one of the trucks contained tonnes of pumpkins, which were scattered across Richmond Rd.
Officers from Nepean Police Area Command established a crime scene.
Commander of the Crash Investigation Unit Jason Hogan confirmed on Tuesday morning that one of the trucks involved in the accident was stolen.
“This accident on Richmond Road, Berkshire Park, a stolen tip truck was involved in a crash with another truck,” Inspector Jason Hogan said.
“That scene is still live and that investigation is ongoing but I can report that both drivers were seriously injured in relation to that crash.”
Drivers have been urged to exercise caution and use alternative routes while heavy vehicle tow trucks clear the area.
Northbound motorists can use Garfield Rd West, Garfield Rd East, Windsor Rd, Groves Ave, Hawkesbury Valley Way, Macquarie St, George St and Blacktown Rd.
Southbound motorists can access Blacktown Rd, George St, Macquarie St, Hawkesbury Valley Way, Groves Ave, Garfield Rd East, Garfield Rd West, Richmond Rd.
These roads are suitable for all vehicles.
