Police are searching for David Johnson, a 44-year-old inmate who escaped from a minimum-security correctional facility in South Nowra this morning.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man who escaped from a minimum-security correctional facility in South Nowra on Wednesday.
David Johnson, 44, was last seen on The Links Road in South Nowra shortly before 7.45am.
Officers from South Coast Police District have launched an investigation to track down the escaped inmate. He has now been on the loose for almost 24 hours.
Johnson is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 185cm tall, with a medium build, brown hair, blue eyes, and a goatee-style beard.
He was last seen wearing a dark green t-shirt, dark green shorts and no shoes.
Police are urging anyone who sees Johnson not to approach him but to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
