Passengers and driver trapped in busy pylon crash
A man and a woman were injured when passengers and a driver were trapped after a bus which crashed into a pylon in Sydney’s west on Thursday.

Nine people have survived a bus crash in Sydney’s west, including a man and a woman who remain in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
Emergency services were called to Terminus Rd, Seven Hills just after 8.30am on Thursday after Hills Bus 1442 crashed into a pylon at a bus interchange near the Prospect Hwy.
Eight passengers and the driver were trapped, with Fire and Rescue NSW needing a ladder to assist passengers off the bus.
The trapped driver and an injured patient had to be released using cutting tools.
NSW Ambulance paramedics assessed nine people at the scene and treated multiple patients.
“When we arrived on scene, it was clear everyone was shaken and frightened from the incident,” NSW Ambulance Superintendent Greg Marshall said.
“It’s incredible nobody on board suffered any life-threatening injuries.
