Mystery surrounds the death of a man whose body was found in bushland in southwest Sydney on Tuesday evening, with police describing the circumstances surrounding his demise as “unclear”.
Officers discovered the body of the man, believed to be in his 20s, after being called to Greengate Reserve on Woolwash Rd at Airds just after 5pm.
“Police established a crime scene and investigations commenced into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death, which remains unclear,” a NSW Police spokeswoman told The Daily Telegraph.
She said inquiries were continuing, with a report to be prepared for the coroner.
Vision from the scene near the Georges River showed a number of police and NSW Ambulance vehicles, including four-wheel drives filmed coming in and out of bushland.
