Robbery and Serious Crime Squad detectives have released CCTV as they investigate an alleged violent home invasion at Ermington in February.
Emergency services were called to a Fremont Ave about 12.30am on Monday February 24 following reports of a break and enter when four unknown people had broken into a home and assaulted two men, aged 17 and 48.
The group also allegedly stole electronic devices before leaving the scene.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the occupants at the scene and the older man was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
A crime scene was established and Ryde police began initial inquiries before State Crime Command’s Robbery and Serious Crime Squad took over the case.
As investigations continue, police have released CCTV of a group of four men who may be able to assist.
The men were first captured on CCTV on Sunday February 23 about 9.25pm getting out of a black van on Dudley Rd in Guildford.
What is believed to be the same group of men is then seen arriving in Ermington about 11.30pm that night in a stolen Mazda CX5 and walking towards the Fremont Ave home.
The footage show one man wielding an object that appears to be a baseball bat.
Anyone with information about the identification or movement of the group is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
