Hells Angels bikies charged after beachside drive-by shooting
Two Hells Angels bikie members have been charged after a South Coogee unit was peppered with seven bullets from a high-powered firearm.

Two Hells Angels bikie members have been charged after bullets were fired into a unit in Sydney’s east.
Meyez Elkerdi and James Scicluna were allegedly involved in the peppering a Gregory St property in South Coogee from a high-powered firearm just after 8pm on Saturday May 27.
Police attended the scene and located damage to the exterior of the unit, but there were no reports of injuries following the incident.
Detectives established Strike Force Auberson to investigate the incident.
Following investigations, police executed a search warrant in a Campbelltown home just before 12.30pm on Friday June 2, where they arrested the 41-year-old Scicluna.
The officers allegedly seized a semiautomatic high-powered rifle fitted with a scope and a quantity of drugs which will be subject to further forensic examination.
Scicluna was taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with fire firearm at dwelling-house disregard for safety and owner not disclose identity of driver/passenger.
He was refused bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday, where he was represented by his lawyer Ljupa Subeska.
Scicluna, who is charged with firing a firearm at dwelling with disregard for safety and not disclosing the identity of passenger/driver, did not appear on screen or apply for bail which was formally refused.
Police documents allege he did reveal the identity of a driver or passenger as the owner of a car at Campbelltown on Friday.
No pleas have yet been entered and Magistrate Daniel Covington adjourned the matter to August 10.
About an hour after Scicluna’s arrest, police arrested Meyez Elkerdi at Wauchope Cres in South Coogee.
The 31-year-old was taken to Maroubra Police Station where he was charged with fire firearm at dwelling-house disregard for safety.
He was refused bail and will appear at Waverley Local Court on Wednesday June 7.
