A Hells Angels bikie has ended up back in court just weeks after walking free from jail after being charged by police over a prison yard fight with an ex-Finks member.
Joshua Brown, 31, was arrested by NSW Police Raptor Squad about 6am on Tuesday during the execution of a Firearm Prohibitions Order (FPO) at a home in Canley Vale, in western Sydney.
Police charged him with affray over an alleged wild brawl with a fellow inmate at the Clarence Correctional Centre, southeast of Grafton, in July.
Brown, a prospect member of the Hells Angels, is alleged to have come to blows with another inmate who was a former Finks bikie.
During their FPO search police allegedly found documents and paraphernalia related to the bikie gang.
Officers also allegedly found several packets of buprenorphine strips, a prohibited drug which is commonly smuggled into prisons across Australia.
In addition to the charge of affray, Brown was also charged with possessing a prohibited drug.
He fronted Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday and was granted strict conditional bail, including the payment of a $1000 surety.
Brown will return to face Fairfield Local Court on September 13.
