Ferrari, BMW cars stolen from Dural and found at Doonside

A group of ‘unknown” men stole two luxury cars – including a Ferrari – from a property in the city’s northwest, before they were found dumped in the western suburbs.

Two luxury cars were stolen from a property at Dural in the early hours of Tuesday, before they were discovered dumped in Doonside.

Police said several unknown men stole a 2022 white model BMW sedan and a 2017 convertible white Ferrari from an address on Old Northern Rd in Dural.

Following inquiries, police found the vehicles parked outside at Perigee Close, Doonside about 11am on Tuesday.

The vehicles were seized to undergo forensic examination.

Police also seized a knife found in the Ferrari.

Strike Force Sweetenham investigators started an investigation surrounding the incident.
