Detectives have confirmed a white Santa Fe, found burnt out on Masonite Rd at Heatherbrae is believed to be connected to Mr King’s murder.

The Tanilba Bay man died after being shot in the face with a shotgun by a person travelling with him in his Ford Ranger utility on Hideaway Close at Salt Ash.

Police have confirmed their belief that the murder was targeted and may have been the result of a drug deal gone awry or a possible drug “rip” or robbery.
