The bloody execution of Mahmoud ‘Brownie’ Ahmad: Sydney underworld's latest victim

A second man has been charged over his alleged role in the murder of underworld hard man Mahmoud “Brownie” Ahmad earlier this year.

Jason Laria, 37, was arrested about 5.30pm on Tuesday and charged with offences including being an accessory after the fact to murder.

Police will allege that Laria was involved in the aftermath of Ahmad’s murder outside a Greenacre home about 9.30pm on Wednesday, April 27.

Ahmad had been warned on multiple occasions by NSW Police in the lead up to his death that there was a bounty on his head.

But they say the longtime crime figure and leader of the infamous Ahmad family refused to listen.
