Alleged driver charged after teens injured in Beverly Hills crash
The alleged driver in a crash that injured five teens on Friday — in freakishly similar circumstance to another crash that killed five teens last week — has been charged with dangerous driving.

The alleged driver in a crash that left five teenagers injured in southwest Sydney early on Friday has been charged with dangerous and negligent driving.
Emergency services were called to Stoney Creek Rd, Beverly Hills about 6am after the Honda Accord crashed into a pole.
Two female passengers, both aged 16, and two male passengers, aged 15 and 16, were hospitalised in stable conditions.
One of the boys has since been released while the three others remain in hospital.
The driver, an 18-year-old male, suffered minor injuries but was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
On Saturday he was charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, negligent driving causing grievous bodily harm, three counts of cause bodily injury in charge of motor vehicle, and drive while suspended.
He was refused bail and will appear at a bedside court hearing on Sunday.
The crash bore freakish similarities to the crash at Buxton that last week killed five teenagers – prompting police to issue a stern warning to young drivers.
“We have a direct correlation to what happened just days ago at Buxton,” Assistant Commissioner Brett McFadden said on Friday.
“We are most fortunate that we didn’t lose another five lives in these circumstances.”
