Diallo was taken to Bankstown Police Station, where was charged with a number of drug offences unrelated to the murder investigation.

He was also charged with breach of bail.

Diallo was out on bail on a series of charges including of murder over the alleged stabbing death of a 17-year-old boy at Bankstown in 2021. He is defending the charge.

Police alleged he was among a group who taunted the young man outside his home by playing rap music, before a brawl ensued which saw the teenager fatally stabbed.

Diallo spent the night in police custody ahead of an appearance at Bankstown Local Court today on both the separate drug and murder charges.

Investigations under Strike Force Delrine are continuing.
