* Manu Vatuvei will return for New Zealand this week for their clash against the Broncos. Making way for the six inclusions are Jonathan Wright, Matt Allwood, Jazz Tevaga, John Palavi and James Gavet plus Round 11’s 18th man, Toafofoa Sipley.

* Origin youngsters Corey Oates and Matt Gillett have been left out of the Broncos side to take on the Warriors on Saturday. Other Queensland stars, Darius Boyd, Josh McGuire, Sam Thaiday and Corey Parker have all been named to back up. Thaiday will start in place of Gillett, with (CHEAPIE ALERT!!) Tevita Pangai Jr taking his bench spot. Lachlan Maranta takes Oates’s spot. Both Herman Ese’ese and Jai Arrow will travel to NZ with the team. Travis Waddell comes in for an injured Andrew McCullough. No sign of Jaydn Su’A.

Waqa Blake comes in at centre for Peta Hiku (ACL). * Konrad Hurrell has been named on an extended bench for the Titans ahead of their trip to Perth. Coach Neil Henry said decisions will be made later on whether or not he plays against the Rabbitohs on Sunday, with another two players expected to be added to the squad. Henry did say today that they intend to play Hurrell at centre when he makes his Titans debut. Greg Bird to be assessed after Origin tomorrow night.
