GET THE EXPERTS’ VIEW ON FYFE REPLACEMENTS, THIS WEEK’S TOP ROOKIES AND THE MYSTERY OF SAM JACOBS IN THIS WEEK’S SUPERCOACHES BOX PODCAST:
At the time of publishing, Fyfe was clearly the most traded out player and involved in nine of the top 10 most popular trades.
A massive 17,000 or 33 per cent of SuperCoaches have already traded Fyfe out.
Luke Parker leads the way followed by Patrick Dangerfield, Sam Mitchell, Scott Pendlebury, Daniel Hannebery, Joel Selwood, Steele Sidebottom, Gary Ablett and Matt Priddis.
For those playing at home, the only trade in the top 10 that didn’t involve Fyfe was Essendon’s Matt Dea to St Kilda defender Tom Lee.
Parker is in the midst of a breakout season and is the second fourth highest scorer so far this season and will also net you more than $40,000 in salary cap.
The second most popular pick, Dangerfield, is the second highest scorer overall but will cost you $26,000 while Sidebottom is the most unique with just 2.5 per cent ownership.
If you’re looking for a left-field choice, Dockers teammate Michael Barlow could see more midfield time with Fyfe and David Mundy out and scored 128 in the loss to the Blues.
Barlow is currently $473,100 ($27,000 down on his starting price) has midfield-forward eligibility and could allow you to upgrade an underperforming player elsewhere.

THIS WEEK’S WINNING TEAM
Team: Jim’s Jets
Coach: Jim Iliadis, Victoria
Score: 2458
Prize: $1000
An almost perfect midfield performance from Jim’s Jets rocketed him to the No.1 score for Round 5. Of the starting eight midfielders, six tonned up and Tom Liberatore and Callum Mills scored 95 and 94 respectively. Some unique options clearly worked wonders this week with Shannon Hurn in just 1.9 per cent of teams, Ollie Wines in 7.7 per cent and Jack Viney in 2.4 per cent of teams. Avoiding Nat Fyfe’s long-term injury will also have helped Jim’s score but Luke Parker’s popularity is sure to skyrocket with the Dockers superstar out.
