A real estate associate director whose team sold almost $245 million worth of property last year has incurred his employer’s disapproval after admitting in court to drink driving.

Ray White Double Bay star agent Alan Fettes appeared before the registrar at Downing Centre Local Court on January 19, where he pleaded guilty to mid-range drink driving.

A court attendance notice tendered to the court states the Rose Bay resident was pulled up in his BMW by police at 4.20am on December 8 last year on Moncur St in Woollahra.

He subsequently blew the mid-range result of 0.087.

Fettes, 30, will be sentenced at the same court on February 16.

Ray White Double Bay’s principal and managing director Elliott Placks said the agency was aware Fettes had appeared in court and pleaded guilty to mid-range drink driving.

“Ray White Double Bay takes incidents of this nature extremely seriously,” Mr Placks said.

“This behaviour is not in line with the values and standards we expect of our people.”

On Tuesday the star agent was spotted in high spirits at Ray White Double Bay’s annual Kick Start event in Watsons Bay, where the agency’s employees held hands as they were instructed on how to be their best selves.

Mr Placks said Fettes had been directed to complete the Traffic Offenders Program as a condition of his ongoing employment.

On Instagram, Fettes posted he and his team had sold almost $60 million in property in November last year alone.

The former St Joseph’s College Nudgee student previously told the Wentworth Courier he traded his dreams of being a professional golfer for real estate after an injury.

“As far as I’m aware I’m the youngest agent to break through the million-dollar (commission) mark at the age of 24,” he said in May 2019.
