Less than two months after opening, Potts Point’s Franca Brasserie restaurant is the talk of town, storming its way into the Delicious 100 among Sydney’s culinary elite.

The rising star of this year’s Delicious 100 is undoubtedly Franca Brasserie, Potts Point, surging its way into 88th spot after only opening two months ago.
The casual French restaurant has been a hit with locals and Sydneysiders craving for the finest European delicacy on the suburb’s star-studded Macleay St.
“We’re in good company on Macleay St,” general manager Alex Cameron said.
Mr Cameron and Franca owner Andrew Becher are a dynamic duo with a history of success in the east.

Their latest venture in Potts Point, a year in the planning and just 10 weeks old, was inspired by a desire to keep locals coming back for more after learning a thing or two from their experiences in the U.K and New York.

“We wanted to do something that would appeal to a wide audience, food that you always wanted to eat,” Mr Cameron said.
“It’s based on the idea that you keep on coming back, whether it’s for a drink at the bar of for a slap-up meal.
“We always wanted to do a French brasserie with a comfort factor that will eventually become an institution.”
