Tahlia Morgan, Ashmont: Hit and run victim in fight for life
Messages of love and hope have poured in for a young woman who is in hospital suffering life threatening pelvic and head injuries after she was hit by two cars in Wagga.

Friends and family of a young woman struck by two cars in Wagga have shared messages of support and hope on social media.
Tahlia Morgan, 20, was struck by two vehicles while walking down Fernleigh Rd Ashmont in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Ms Morgan initially fell to the ground after a 19-year-old male driver struck Ms Morgan in a Nissan Patrol.
The driver and his passenger stopped the vehicle to render assistance when Ms Morgan was struck by a second vehicle.
The second driver, a 19-year-old woman failed to stop after hitting Ms Morgan but was arrested later that day at a home in Glenfield Park after extensive police investigation and appeals to the public for witnesses.
Riverina Police Superintendent Bob Noble said police released the woman pending further inquiries.
“She provided police with a version of events,” Superintendent Bob Noble said.
“Investigations are continuing and police will now go back and gather more information.
“What has occurred is incredibly tragic, the victim is going to have an to undergo extensive rehab and possibly never recover fully.
“This is a reminder that if you are a pedestrian or you are operating a motor vehicle especially in the early hours of the morning you should be hyper vigilant of your surroundings.
“You probably shouldn't be driving unless there’s a reason because nothing good happens after midnight,” he said.
The woman’s black Honda City sedan was seized along with the other drivers Nissan patrol which will both undergo forensic and mechanic examination.
Ms Morgan remains in a serious condition and is being treated for head and pelvic injuries at Royal North Shore Hospital.
Dozens of family and friends have shared well wishes to Ms Morgan through her social media accounts.
“I love you so much my sister, you’ll get through this I know you will,” a Facebook post shared by Georgia Fieldsend stated along with a photo of herself and Ms Morgan.
While Tjana Morris’s post of support for her “sister” gained more than 100 likes.
“My sister, Your (sic) so strong,” read the post.
“You got this my girl, your (sic) a fighter.
“I love you more than anything I’ll be right here right by your side every step.
“You will be home soon I promise.
“We love you more than anything.”
