Two Australian real estate giants are set to construct a large scale industrial business complex on the NSW south coast, with plans for the park recently approved.

“Nowra Business Park” is set to come to South Nowra, after Shoalhaven Council approved plans for the warehouse complex which has recently entered “stage one” of its creation.

Australian real estate companies Colliers and Integrity Real Estate created the business park, which is set to feature 68 warehouses to be sold off to various buyers looking to create a business, or expand their existing one.

Colliers Wollongong managing director Simon Kersten said customers were invited to the land located at 7 Nowra Hill Rd, South Nowra, to purchase the upcoming commercial warehouses on Saturday, March 9.

He said the warehouses offered buyers the perfect mix of commercial, industrial or lifestyle usages and were ideal for trades, enthusiasts, downsizers, “or just someone looking to spread out”.

Mr Kersten also said the location was perfect for businesses looking to “thrive” alongside some of Australia’s top national retailers, like Harvey Norman, Domayne, BCF, Bunnings, Spotlight, and more – all located in South Nowra.

“Regionally, we have huge waitlists for industrial properties,” he said.

“Nowra in particular fills an urgent need in the sector and we expect the units will sell very quickly.”

Mr Kersten said the 68 “state-of-the-art warehouses” were crafted to combine intelligent design with superior construction standards.

Plans reveal each commercial unit will feature allocated parking, high clearance roller doors, and three-phase power which will ensure optimal functionality for a diverse range of commercial, industrial, or lifestyle applications.

Collier’s Wollongong senior executive Taleah Thomas said the business park was needed on the south coast.

“The release of stage one at Nowra Business Park marks the beginning of a new era in industrial excellence for Nowra,” she said.

“The development presents a compelling opportunity for businesses to thrive in a dynamic environment strategically located within South Nowra’s vibrant commercial hub.”

The warehouses will begin to be sold off to prospective buyers on Saturday, with construction expected to begin later this year.
