A Hells Angels Brutal South chapter president has pleaded guilty to his role in a brawl at a popular south coast pub.

Graeme Anthony McGilvray, 33, pleaded guilty to affray after getting into a brawl and chasing a co-accused with a metal stool at the Huskisson Hotel on January 24.

On Monday, McGilvray entered guilty pleas to a single count of affray and two counts of drug possession through his legal counsel at Nowra Local Court. Police withdrew a charge of armed with intent to commit an indictable offence.

According to police documents tendered to the court, CCTV captured the Hells Angels member approaching his co-accused shortly after 10.50pm.

Footage captured McGilvray speaking with the co-accused before walking away momentarily. A short-time later, the co-accused and associates walk past McGilvray.

A brawl ensued on the rear deck of the pub. Patrons could be seen clearing and moving out of the way of the fight. As security guards attempted to stop the fight McGilvray could be seen on footage, throwing “several punches” and his shirt was ripped.

The fight lasted about 35 seconds before security separated the parties. Security walked McGilvray away in a different direction to the co-accused, but then he picked up a metal stool and started running from security.

According to the court documents he re-entered the inside of the premises through a side door and started chasing the co-accused. He was seen swinging the stool in the direction of his co-accused, police documents said.

Another 20-second altercation followed until security stopped the fight.

On June 10, police went to arrest McGilvray for the affray and execute a prohibited firearm order. They arrived at a Sanctuary Point address, but he wasn’t there. According to the documents, inside, police found two vials of testosterone and one vial of trenbolone – all 10ml in size.

McGilvray’s case was adjourned until September 11 for sentence.
